I think I’d choose Keanu Reeves.
Not because I want the fame itself. Honestly, that part seems exhausting. I’d be more interested in seeing what life feels like from the inside for someone who has spent decades being incredibly successful without seeming completely consumed by it.
A week in his life would probably be fascinating.
I’d want to see what it feels like to walk onto a movie set at that level, work with people who are among the best at what they do, train for something physically demanding, and experience the strange machinery behind making a film that millions of people will eventually watch.
And yes, I would absolutely want access to the motorcycles.
But the bigger reason I’d choose him is that he seems to have figured out something a lot of famous people struggle with: how to remain relatively grounded while living a very unusual life.
That would be interesting to experience firsthand.
What does an ordinary morning look like when the world knows your face? How do you decide who you trust? How do you keep parts of your life private? How do you stay curious about the work after doing it for decades?
I think I’d learn more from the quiet parts than the glamorous ones.
Then, after seven days of movie sets, motorcycles, hotels, interviews, and being recognized everywhere, I’d probably be very happy to switch back.
Fame seems interesting to visit.
I’m not sure I’d want to live there permanently.
If you could switch lives with a famous person for a week, who would it be and why?
